As of late I have been reading up on home schooling. Influential people have been home schooled like Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, C.S Lewis, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Wolfgang Mozart, Benjamin Franklin to name a few.
Children that have been home schooled has a considerable advantage from 1 year to 4 years at the age of 14. This means at the age of 14 home schooled children are ready for College as compared to the norm of 18 years. There has been a lot of research done on the intellectual as well as socially emotional development advantages. The results very positive!
My husband, Pieter and I are seriously considering home-schooling for our daughter. We're living in the Netherlands at the moment, and YES it is possible to do it here.
